"Jesus Blood Phase" was created for the Steve Reich Festival in the Hague, the Netherlands. Inspired by composer Steve Reich, it takes a set phrase and repeats it (in this case a total of 66 times) phasing the phrase a little each time. Each previous phrase influences the next so that a gradual shift occurs. The inspiration for the piece came after watching William Forsythe's choreography "Quintet".
