"Kenzo in Space" is part of an ongoing performance project investigation.

it was made in close collaboration with dancers Kenzo Kusuda, Isabelle Chaffaud, costume designer, Jookje and sound designer, Joris Jan Bos.

the idea behind "Kenzo in Space" is to explore space with movement as if it were the first time the space was experienced. it is an improvization with the location as its score.

the costumes create limitations which give the performer a new skin meant to heighten the (alien) experience of new space.

so far it has been performed at the royal academy of fine arts (kenzo in space I) and at the second Biarteca festival in Rosazza, Italy (Kenzo in Space II)

"kenzo in space" toured South Africa in august and september 2005.
